Roads Department

The Roads Department performs the following tasks:-
– Construction and asphalting of highways and asphalting the schemes inside and outside cities
– Implementing ferry works to drain torrential and rain water that intersect with highways to protect them. The phrases are divided into two parts.
1- Closed ferries (box-tube) so that they are covered to drain the torrents at the intersection of the main roads with the valleys
2- Open gates, which are concrete cladding for the floors and sides of valleys.

– The department also implements concrete bridges passing through valleys with street intersections, or bridges within cities to help solve traffic crises at intersections, and internal underground tunnels with the relocation of all infrastructure works.
